This bungalow was built by a pioneer British Planter Mr. David Northway and it now belongs to Mr. Bernard Gamini Fernando. This beautiful bungalow had been opened only for family friends and distinguished guest up to now. The good news is that it is now open to the general public, since numerous inquiries keep pouring in requesting for bookings we have decided to have its doors open, yet only for a selected Clientele.

Northway Bungalow is situated near Mahawali Reach Hotel. It is very close to the kandy-katugasthota road. The Mahawali River is a few meters away from the bungalow. You could observe the water of Mahaweli gently flow as you walk along the river. Your skyline is the Hunnas Mountain which curls over to Knuckles range on the right. The Blue Mountains in the distance and the green tropical forest will hold you spellbound as you sip your morning cup of tea. The Bungalow offers you more beauty than luxury.
